Dave Dill Custom Knife $750 Lot 48

This Dave Dill Custom Knife is a scale release automatic opening knife. This is the standard 2.5 inch knife he makes. This one has a bloodwood handle with white liner and single bolster.

The scale release design is also referred to as a slide handle. Notice the picture of the knife being held and notice the right side handle slides slightly up to release the blade. The blade locks in the open position and releases to close by again sliding the right handle up to release the blade from the locked position.
