Dave Dill Custom Knife $750 Lot 48

This Dave Dill Custom Knife is a scale release automatic opening knife. This is the standard 2.5 inch knife he makes. This one has a purple heart handle with black liner and single bolster. Note the handle has a derringer style curve too it.

The scale release design is also referred to as a slide handle. Notice the picture of the knife being held and notice the right side handle slides slightly up to release the blade. The blade locks in the open position and releases to close by again sliding the right handle up to release the blade from the locked position.
