Dave Dill Custom Knife $1150 Lot 60

This Dave Dill Custom Knife is a scale release automatic opening knife. This is the standard 3 inch knife he makes. This one has an ivory handle with black liner and single engraved bolster. Each of the ivory handles were engraved by Bill Schick. On one side is a pool cue and on the other side is the words "Pool Nut" with the Tazmanian Devil breaking a pool cue in half.

The scale release design is also referred to as a slide handle. Notice the picture of the knife being held and notice the right side handle slides slightly up to release the blade. The blade locks in the open position and releases to close by again sliding the right handle up to release the blade from the locked position.
