Josswest in ebony and ivory $9500

This cue was made by Bill Stroud in 1991 for Jimmy "Pretty Boy Floyd" Mataya. It has 4 shafts and weighs 19.8 ounces. Note the picture of the cue and how the shafts are inlayed to match the inlay work on the collar of this cue. The cue comes with a letter signed personally by Jimmy Mayaya. This letter was originally sent to Joe Gold in June 1994 with a request to refinish the cue and the letter and cue were forewarded to Bill Stroud who did the refinish work adding two new shafts. This is the same cue pictured in the New Yorker Magazine in the early ninties when the article was written about he and his wife Eva who is on the Womens Professional Billiards Association tour. A picture of Jimmy Mataya which appeared in the magazine holding this cue is also included.
