Dave Dill Custom Knife $1250 Lot 72

This Dave Dill Custom Knife is a scale release automatic opening knife. This is the second T40 knife made after the prototype. Only a few of these knives have been made. This particular one has a "2" on the blade representing the second one made. The handles are pearl with black liner and double engraved bolsters.

The scale release design is also referred to as a slide handle. Notice the picture of the knife being held and notice the right side handle slides slightly up to release the blade. The blade locks in the open position and releases to close by again sliding the right handle up to release the blade from the locked position.
